We firstly want to say thank you for all you are doing to help as we continue to navigate through this difficult and unpredictable time. We know many of you have been caring and providing support for relatives, neighbours and the vulnerable. It is so appreciated.
We want to reassure you that we are working within current recommendations, and reviewing our provision on an ongoing basis. We are doing our best to provide safe and timely care.
We appreciate there have been problems with our phone lines. We are in the process of installing a new phone system which should resolve these issues.
You can help us by using your online access or our website whenever possible, to reduce waiting times on the phone, and leave them more accessible for people who are unwell or have no internet access. You can order your medication, complete a medication review, access self-referrals, complete health-related questionnaires and submit queries.
Please note we are assessing people on the phone/via video in the first instance in all circumstances, but, as always, we will see you face to face when this is necessary.
We have been working hard to adapt and provide services in different ways with new digital consultation software enabling video, phone and text consultations. We appreciate these changes can be unsettling but we are confident that they will improve our services we provide to you.
Thank you again for supporting us at this time.
